Willi Kissmer’s art has been described as sensual, provocative, mysterious
and erotic. Through the manipulation of light and shadow, he is able to
convey a sense of touch as well as sight. He uses simple objects and locations
as subjects and is most interested in relating the qualities of light as
well as the texture of fabric, its folds and creases. In dealing with the
classic human figure, Kissmer evokes a sense of feeling that is as powerful
as the visions he creates through demanding etching techniques.
For over 20 years, Willi Kissmer’s art has been displayed in numerous
exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States and is now available
through German Art Company.
